This app was excellent and worked well when iOS 8.3 and lower was out. Now that iOS 8.4 and Apple Music has been released this app is useless. Offline music is available for selection however once you select it nothing happens. I have a bad feeling my money has now gone to waste and such a great application will depreciate and be forgotten!

The app does not work since the introduction of apple music, do not download.

Worst app ever! Does not work!!!

Things were going great, it was like a club up in my living room. Loved it. But then... Apple Music came. Ambify does not do well pulling from the music library since the update. Songs appear which cannot be played. So many songs. App is borderline unusable now. Please update so we can get back to jamming, and we will again sing your praises. Thanks!

Cant play music from my apple steaming service but it still shows up in the library.

Please add support for apple music! Useless without it

I am totally amazed by how well it works! The lights change right as the music changes. This is amazing and the creator deserves credit. AMAZING!! 5 OUT OF 5!!

Probably the best app to use to make your hue lights go with the music. It works with all of my music, and no its not compatible with spotify and other online music streaming services. Compared to the other app I would use which is disco hue I prefer this one because 1 it finds the beat of the song for you instead of having to tap the beat for it like in disco hue. It also does this interesting gradient shift in colors between down times in songs when the beat isnt loud enough to be picked up. On disco hue it just has this awkward gap when the lights dont change at all. However a downside to this app is that at times it crashes mid songs, this would most likely be an easy fix on for the development team but if you havent looked, the last update was in 2014. This app appears to just be one of those old discarded apps that the developers have given up on, which is a huge mistake on their part.

Does not even work probably. Looks like crap.

The lights will flash but only the first song in my library works. All of my other songs, podcasts, playlists will have the lights going but not the music. I tried it on both my iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6s+ but no matter what I did couldnt get it to work.

Love the app, I paid for the Mac version for now so that I can use it with Apple Music but its not always convenient to have my MacBook out with me in the yard while having people over. Please add Apple Music support for the iOS version. Dear Apple, please allow Ambify to use my Apple Music library with their app. Im already paying you monthly for the music, so why not? Thanks. =)

Please fix the Apple Music issue , I paid for this app hoping it would work and only ONE song works for this app and its the song Ive ever purchased in iTunes all my other songs I got from Apple Music does not work !! Please fix this issue!! This app would be 100x better if it worked with that

First off! NEEDS TO WORK WITH APPLE MUSIC JUST LIKEBTHE MAC VERSION, Spent a lot of money on my iTunes Library.... And This app doesnt support not one of those songs -___- so Im limited to only about 70songs... Still love the app though, I dont see why DRM Prevents you from playing songs already on your device... Its not like the app copies the song for sale.. Apple does such a great job of catching apps that infringe on privacy idk why they cant do the same thing with apps that copy music

This was a pretty cool app when it used to work. This was one of the best apps that actually synced the music with lights not using the mic. After ios9 hasnt worked. Hasnt had an update in almost a year.

Ambify is by far the best Hue app. Id give 5 stars but it needs to somehow support Apple Music since thats how songs are getting played now. Absolutely awesome support though, best FX Ive seen.

Awesome idea and really neat when it works. However, the "when it works" part is spotty. The current version doesnt start up properly and makes my iPhone 5 unresponsive for several seconds at a time. Previous versions have worked pretty well after fiddling with the sensitivity settings.

It wont let me play any of my music, none

Ive tried a ton of different apps to sync my Hue lights with music, and theyve all disappointed. Until now! Ambify has the uncanny ability to turn out incredibly timed lighting, from slow fades to drum and bass driven flashes, all perfectly tuned to the music. Would be five stars if it didnt have trouble loading my music library - could be an Apple iOS 9.1 bug, but it is quite annoying. As it stands, a seemingly random smattering of my albums, playlists, etc loads any given time.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.1 This app is by far the best app for the hue lights, well worth the $3. Nice and simple to use, its as easy as just playing your favourite track and it transforms the room into a nightclub (well almost). Love it!

Using airplay through my home theater and 4 hue lights.
