Ambify - the Hue enabled jukebox turns music into light using Philips Hue Smart Bulbs.

Being the first of its kind, Ambify combines the simplicity of a jukebox with the endless new possibilities offered by Philips Hue System.

Its a s simple as starting the app, selecting your lamps and choosing a playlist.
Ambify then applies our nifty algorithms to analyse and visualise your music in real-time using the lamps youve previously selected.

Heres a short overview:
* Beautifully designed music player
* Universal - looks great on iPhone and iPad
* Access music in your iPod library
* Real-world music visualizer using Philips Hue
* Just works - smart algorithms adapt to your music
* FX Section - tweak visualizer settings as you like
* AirPlay - use the visualizer while sending music to an AppleTV or other AirPlay device - no problem!
* Color Themes - create different color themes for different types of music

Requirements:
* a Philips Hue starter-kit (or advanced setup) is required for music visualisation
* Ambify works best with the following devices:
iPad2, iPad3, iPad4, iPad Air, iPad Air 2 or iPad mini
iPhone4s, iPhone5, iPhone 6, iPhone 6+ or iPodTouch 5thGen

Older devices may be too slow for Ambify to work correctly.

Pros and cons of Ambify app for iPhone and iPad

Ambify app good for

Great app over all did what I was hoping for, though would like to see an easier and more functional layout. As well as being able to play songs straight from the music app. Sometimes the lights seem to be a bit behind from the beat, but could just be me. Was easy to pair and set up. Will be using this app regularly. :)
This app is the best music visualizing app available to Philips Hue users. The internal microphone use is ideal for the most accurate possible timing. I think an option to incorporate certain effects such as strobe flickering or other accents may improve things, but the limitations of the bulbs themselves along with the already smooth aesthetics of Ambify make this app nearly perfect.
You have to figure this app out. Its so awesome! A must have!
Its really good and works well but I would like to see an update that integrates Spotify and Pandora other than that its really really good.
The newly added support section was great at showing me how to go to settings to setup manually and find my Bridge. Its working now and making me want to get even more bulbs than the 13 I already have. Thanks to the developer for the quick fix.
I couldnt get the app to pair to the bridge before but now it works perfectly. Im very impressed and happy with the effects. Cool app.

Some bad moments

For the music you have purchased it works great! But finding the song you want is a different story...the search bar doesnt even work and the music is in a random order I still cant figure out(its not by artist or alphabetical) Also doesnt support music you have added from Apple Music, other apps let you use the music from Apple Music so I dont understand that. Also when you contact customer service about something they dont respond, save your three dollars till this app has about 3 or 5 more updates.
Doesnt upload all of your songs in your library. Out of my 25 most recently played, only two showed up. Out of all my 400 plus songs, only about 40 showed up to be able to play. I wish I hadnt payed to download this.
I bought this because I read you can use it with Spotify. Guess what. You cant. It ONLY works with music purchased through iTunes.
Apple Music is not compatible even though they said they fixed it. Update: no support what so ever, requesting refund on the premise of false advertisement and absent customer support. Do not buy. Again hoping to get a refund on this crappy app.
Makes simple tasks like music integration so tedious that by the time its set up, you dont care anymore.
Couldnt sync any music from itunes or play music from any other app.
