Setup was easy and the app is really responsive to the songs beat! A must buy for hue users!

App is working again with the latest update. And loving the dark color scheme!! Thanks!!! However one small bug ... I think because of the color scheme, in the bulb selection screen I cant see which bulbs are currently selected without explicitly selecting them again. Otherwise, best music syncing app imo

Deleted the app for a second time, 2 years after the first. Wont play music. Waste of $$$.

This version crashes my iPhone 6 plus like madness. Was an must have app, now not even functional.

This app and its Mac counterpart are currently bug ridden and unusable. No support. Used to be the best app for hue but no longer works.

Works for about 10 minutes and then as you use features it will go into an endless crash loop where you cant play any songs. Too bad. Do not buy.

Music is sounding very muffled during playback through ambify as opposed to the music app itself. It is too bad as ambify showed so much promise. So much so I purchased the os10 app for my iMac as well. I hope the developer continues to take interest but I doubt it given his/her track record. I cant recommend this app.

Im so happy to see the app get an update, thank you! I absolutely LOVE the algorithms for changing the lighting to music. Its by far the best there is. The lights coherently work to create effects that actually look amazing. So much better than anything else Ive tried, and Ive tried them all! There are some limitations but from what I gather its more limitations within iOS than the app. Being able to use Apple Music would be fantastic. Secondly, even if there was a microphone feature where we could use the app while playing music from another device to create the same effects. Lots of potential! Hope to see the app grow!

Needs added support for iTunes remote as I have a 16gb device and cannot access my entire library from it, and this app is for home use anyways so it would be a very nice feature

on iphone 4 with iOS 7.0.2 it is hard to use app. App is working slow, music is playing too fast ( like you would listen to chipmunks ) same situation on iPad2 with iOS 7.0.2. Waiting for fix.

The app perform some interesting features never seen before, syncing the music you play on the iphone/ipod/ipad with the philips hue lamps. - The sync is not perfect and I have some delay in the response. - The option to set the brightness is missing. - The option of using only one color is missing. I hope this features will be available in the app for mac coming soon.

I read the reviews before purchasing it. Took the risk still and honestly the app is great, works with purchased music from iTunes. As well it is really accurate as well. Im using the app with an iPad Pro and no issues.

This is by far the most responsive app in terms of syncing up the lights to the songs. I will note though that the sensitivity needs to be watched closely because not all songs are the same. Would like to see a more seamless song search & ability to play Apple Music songs.

The app crashes right when you click play! Do not buy this app unless there is a proper updated version

Buggy app with archaic music selector. Constantly crashes

Ill edit as I find more: This app ONLY draws from whatever iTunes the device has; would love to actually stream from another application such as; Pandora, spotify, tidal etc... The menus to select music and Genius playlists is a bit lacking, beside being a bit Tricky "klunky" to get around and find music you want, it wont recieve newly generated ( like a genius) playlist and stays withy the same thing over and over.

It’s an app with great potential, but there’s so many flaws to it. 1) If your sensitivity and variation aren’t PERFECT, it doesn’t react well to the music. 2) When your device receives any notification, or if you leave the app for even a nano second, the music stops playing and won’t work until you restart the app. 3) The music selector is possibly the worst I’ve ever seen. Add in an option to select by song, and make it less clunky. Add in an alphabet selector, and use the extra space that is clearly left on the screen. If these things get changed, my rating would definitely increase.
